We walked from the train station but taxis are available. Bayeux is a must-see. Don't miss the famous tapestry.

Located in the centre of Bayeux, the Domaine de Bayeux is set in an 18th century house featuring a tree-lined park. Very nice room a few minutes walk from town center. Room was large and clean and bathroom was exceptional. The hostess was friendly and they sold wine at a nice price that we enjoyed in the room. Bayeux is a great place to start tours of the WWII Normandy region, and the town is quaint and full of nice shops and restaurants.
